Well I must say...despite all the hard work, home ownership is AMAZING!
We have officially owned the house for a WHOLE WEEK now, and I am still ABSOLUTELY GLOWING about it (minus the chickens of course). I cannot wait to get the computer so we can post picts. Adam and I have been spending all free time attacking the yard, and it looks SO much better, that and my muscles are about to bust out of my skin. Nothing like doing hours of raking, hauling, and pruning every other day to get you in shape!
Our household goods get delivered next Wednesday, and I am definitely ready for some furnishings! Though, not having pots and pans is making us BBQ every night for dinner (Yay to a grill being our first purchase for our new home!!!), and it is the best!
Nora gets here on Monday!!!! Three and a half weeks of her is going to be FANTASTIC... I haven't seen her since I went to Germany a year and a half ago, so much time to be made up.
Adam's parents have officially booked their holiday trip!!! They are coming over Christmas so that will be great, and WE ARE SO EXCITED! It is hard to imagine holidays without family, but the chance to live in Hawaii is still worth all of the distance and occassions missed. Though I think "Holidays in Hawaii" would be a fun tradition to start!
