Hello, we are the Mayers.

We are a couple who are passionate about living a meaningful life filled with awesome relationships with real people, exploring new cultures/cities/countries in this huge yet small world, eating incredible food, and experiencing all the things that life has to offer.

A Visit to Juniata

As most of you know, Adam and I met and fell in love at Juniata College...so besides just being an absolutely awesome school with great memories, it is the reason for our fantastic life together. This is the first year that we were around/free to head back for Homecoming/Alumni Weekend since we graduated, and were all about doing so. Adam was also asked to speak at the CompSci/IT Alumni panel as well. Unfortunately, we were only able to venture up for the Friday of festivities, due to helping friends arrive from Hawaii to Maryland, but it was SO worth the trip. And we got to hang out with our favorite JC student, Adam's cousin Kara, who is a sophomore on the pre-Pharmacy track.

South Hall...where we both lived when we met <3

East Hall, my home sophomore year

Best burger in town, and lunch with Kara

Founder's Hall has morphed from the original building

Sherwood Hall, my home freshman year

Large theater addition onto Oller Hall

The epic Cloister Hall

My real home at JC...the science building

Little but dramatic changes...where's the stairs!?!?!

Adam was a HUGE hit with the student, he had groupies

Oh Juniata love...

This use to be J's, the bar where Adam and I really met :)
After the whole campus visit and alumni panel, we went out to dinner at good old Hoss's with a bunch of Adam's old professors, and then headed out to the Raystown Field Station where I worked for my 4 years Juniata. It was a glorious day, and we had a great time visiting with old friends and professors. The best part was that you can still walk into their offices 6-7 years later and they remember your name without a reminder...seriously, the best college experience that you could ever ask for!
