Such an exciting and awesome weekend. As many of you may know, I have crossed into the decade of my 30s...how the heck I am that old, I have no idea. I still feel as though I am about 23-24 years old. But alas, I am 30, and my wonderful parents came down for 4 days to celebrate with me. YAY! It was so nice to have them down, to show them how our life here is, and just spend a lot of nice and relaxed time with them.
On Friday, we went to the Baltimore Aquarium and WOW, it was AMAZING! If you ever have a chance, GO, and make sure to allot for a solid 4 hours. We had a really great time...though the sea turtle did make me long for Hawaii. Saturday we did the Fells Point Farmer's Market and then headed to the
Maryland Renaissance Festival down in Annapolis (picts below). I know my parents didn't know what to expect with the fair, but I think they had a good time...I know I had a great time! So many fun things to see and do, and the people-watching was above par! Sunday was spent ambling along the Baltimore Farmer's Market (it is awesome and huge, and my favorite place to do my grocery shopping for the week!), and the afternoon was spent at the
James Joyce watching the Steeler's game. Sadly, my parents had to leave Monday morning, it just felt like not enough time... It is nice being back on the East Coast (as hard as it is for me to not still be in Hawaii) just to be able to spend so much more time with loved ones.
