Happy 4th of July!!!
So we have definitely been slacking on this whole blog thing...actually just too busy the last couple of months between work and school and life, all good things. Great news is that we sold the house...and we close on the 24th of this month. YAY! Only 3 more weeks! We have an AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME apartment that we have rented that is RIGHT ACROSS the street from the beach. I am so excited!!!
It is SO NICE to know that the end of homeownership and all of that responsibilty is coming to an end. Someday it might be nice, just not now. Adam and I see so little of each other right now, that the time we do have together should not be spent on house/yard work. We are staying in Kailua, so no worries, still the best beach in the world...just A WHOLE LOT CLOSER!
My trip back to the East Coast was AMAZING! I got to spend some quality time with family and friends in New Hampshire, and just relax. My midterm in Philly was a joke though...the test was online and took me 15 minutes, and the practical portion was recorded to be watched at a later date...all of which I could have easily done from Hawaii. But I got to see my parents for their 30th wedding anniversary.
I also got to hang out in Philly with my good friend from nursing school Allyson, and enjoy 2 pints of Woodchuck after my midterm. Some other good news though, my professor will be out in Hawaii in August and has agreed to give me my final while he is here so I don't have to fly back again. Even more awesome, is my amazing husband agreeing to be my "patient" to perform my physical exam on :) he SOOOOO loves me!
I am very much counting down until September where I start a more consistant schedule: work Sun, Mon, & Tues nights, and have clinical on Thurs & Fri. So I will get 4 nights in a row with Adam and actually be able to dive on the weekends. ONLY 13 MONTHS UNTIL GRADUATION!
Also...how crazy is this...July 2nd marked the beginning of our 3rd year here...can you believe it's already been that long?!?!! It's amazing how quickly time is passing. Only another year until we can start working to get our butts to Europe.
Hope this finds everyone having a GREAT holiday weekend!!!
