Happy Thanksgiving from Hawaii!!!
Things here have been going great, just nice and quiet. We had Thanksgiving with a TON of people from Adam's work, you know...all of us nomads so far from home congregating for the holiday. It was a lot of fun, and A LOT of great food. The best of it was that you had everyone bring their own version of turkey, and stuffing, and potatoes, that you got to try the best of it all...and it was damn tasty. Of course, it is hard not to spend the time with family, but this turned out to be quite a good time. And you know...the typical family turkey days do not end with beer pong and a$$hole. And yes...Adam ended up being President the ENTIRE time...just like back at Juniata.
And for those of you who are as much of a romantic dork as I am...the 20th was 5 years since Adam and I met. Ohh...yeah, corny but absolutely PERFECT. It's amazing how much has happened in just 5 years of knowing each other if you think about it....both graduating from Juniata, me from nursing school in Philly, moving to Maryland, getting engaged and married, moving to Hawaii, buying a house...should be interesting to see where we end up in the next 5 years, and GOD am I EXCITED to find out!!!
Some big news on my behalf, turns out I don't know how to count...but after I am done with my Pharmacology class in 3 weeks, I only have TWO classes left, and then three semesters of clinical and I AM DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE with my Masters. Yeah, August of 2010 baby, and it will be all over...YAY!
