First voicemail from Chelle: "Hey, it's me. I found a great deal on a ticket, give me a call back ASAP if you want me to come visit!"
Second voicemail from Chelle: "Hey, me again. I bought the ticket, hope you will be around Dec. 5-12 because I'm coming to visit you!"
I love my Chelle...AND SHE WILL BE HERE IN THREE WEEKS! I am SOOOO spoiled, two of my bestest friends within 6 months...I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! I have really been missing my chica, and now I get a WHOLE week of her.
This has been a great three (four for me) day weekend! Saturday we went hiking with one of Adam's co-workers in the mountains RIGHT BEHIND our house, and it was AWESOME...5 hours, but awesome. Sunday was spent watching the Steelers kick ass at The Shack and enjoying delicious french toast. We also spent time at the beach (don't read after this Mom)...and saw HUGE rays, two of them, just riding the surf. This was the same place we saw the sea turtle too. I love our beach!
So...those orange trees in the backyard that don't taste so good...well, the make AMAZING orange juice, so now, thanks to my cute hubby we can start out the day with a fresh glass.
Also (more random news), my follow-up chest CT came back normal...so no permanent effects from the spring bout of pneumonia...YAY!
