Wow...hard to believe it is September already! This last week has been a busy one...
Adam and I celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY in a low-key fashion, nice lunch out and a movie. It has been a perfect year, I LOVE BEING MARRIED!
Also, I finally got sworn into my new job, and start officially this coming Tuesday. I have been off the last 3 days, so we have been all over then place. Wednesday Nora and I traverse Pearl Harbor, then off to Waikiki for sushi, a torch-lighting & hula show, concluded by the most gorgeous sunset over the water. One of those picts is posted below. Thursday was spent biking around Kailua and hiking the Lanikai Barracks...the hike was quite an endeavor, involving ropes and sliding, but was well worth it...by far the most gorgeous views I have yet seen of the island, some of those picts are also post below.
Yesterday Nora was feeling under the weather (probably due to the severe overheating from our hike), so my day was spent unpacking and arranging the rest of the house, and guess what.....WE'RE DONE! That's right, we are all moved in and set up (minus hanging pictures on the wall, but I am not counting that). That means we can go shopping for more furniture now!
Nora leaves Monday night...and I am SO SAD already...it has been FANTASTIC having her here, and just really nice to spend time with her again.
