Well Nora left Monday night, and that was TERRIBLE....it was so sad, we were both crying, and it was so hard to watch her go. It was SO amazing to have her here...and now I am still waiting for a call from her, since she was suppose to land in Frankfurt this morning, and there is that whole terrorist plot revealed there...ugh. But it was a proper farewell day, we spent all morning out on the ocean kayaking around Kailua and Lanikai, around and between the islands. That and I cooked her a bunch of grilled cheese since they don't have the proper cheese in Germany. I love Germans. I miss my German.
I in-processed yesterday, which in non-federal terms means I spent 8 hours running to 40 different places for paperwork, signatures, IDs, and such. It is such a relief to finally be done with all of it.
Last night was spent out with a huge group of people from Adam's work at Buca di Beppo (the best little Italian restaurant in Honolulu) celebrating Julie's birthday, and it was SO much fun.
Tomorrow is my beloved husband's birthday...a grande age of 25. Though we are both working tomorrow, we are going to spend our 3 day weekend celebrating, I love birthdays, they are probably one of my favorite-ist holidays. We are doing this group scavenger hunt with the crew this weekend down in Waikiki...kind of a fun bar hopping thing mixed with map navigation and history trivia...should be a total blast. I am also hoping that we can get some surfing in...I CANNOT WAIT TO DO ITAGAIN!!! Everyone should try it atleast once in their life. ...
