Yes...we went to Vegas...again. My favorite brother-in-law was rewarded with a trip to Las Vegas for his hard work and passing some wicked test, and we were asked to join. Since this was our 3 trip to Vegas, we wanted to accomplish things that we hadn't done before and actually get out of the city and see the sites.
We arrived Sunday afternoon in time to catch the Steelers game (nothing interrupts that, duh!), and then had a nice dinner at the coveted
Mesa (AMAZINGLY delicious!) followed by the
Cirque du Soleil show 'O' at the Bellagio.
The best part was out escape from the city bright and early Monday morning to see the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon South Rim...and a really long day of driving. Visiting the Grand Canyon should be on everyone's bucket list, it is amazingly beautiful, awing, and breathtaking. I even got to try In & Out Burger for the first time (not as good as Five Guys). Tuesday was a quick day as it was just a 48 hour trip and we were able to venture up to the pawn shop where Pawn Stars is filmed.
Please enjoy the picture...I know there is a lot, but this is only a fraction of them. I told you, the canyon was inspiring!
