Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone-
So my very wonderful mother has pointed out that we have been very lazy with our blog...my fault, I gave up since I still haven't learned how to post picts since we got the new Mac. But I just got a new camera, so I swear I will do better. That and Facebook has has led to the laziness, with the ease of posting picts from my iPhone on there.
I hope that this finds everyone having had an amazing holiday with their loved ones! I was SO happy, my mom came down and spent TWO WEEKS with us, and it was THE BEST EVER! She came just after I wrapped up clinical and school for the semester (4.0 still intact!) and only two more semesters left until graduation. I will have 3 Bachelor's and 2 Master's degrees...think that's enough?!??! And that is enough of school...I am thoroughly enjoying my month off from it.
So my mom was here, and it was AMAZING! We went to Bikram yoga a ton, the gym, and walked the beach...ALOT. And we took my mom out for a bunch of different world cruisines (since we LOVE eating out), and *SHOCK* my mom likes sushi! Haha...yeah, I knew she would. I dropped her off at the ariport before coming to work tonight, and that sucked. It was so nice to have family around.
Santa was very spoiling to us this year, though I have already warned Adam that all Christmas' from here on out will be a disappointment. I surprised him with the Advanced Dive Course on the Big Island in February...and along with that comes all new dive gear, including his coveted carbon fiber fins and his new speargun, a Riffe Euro X. He was a very happy husband. I was ecstatic that he got me exactly what I wanted...a professional dive camera. It's was hard to find a good one, because a lot of cameras are only waterproof to 30ft, and that is the beginning of our depths...my new toy goes to 200ft, and the only person going to that depth will be Adam himself. We are going diving after I sleep a few hours this morning to break-in all of the new gear. Our other big thing is a week long vacation the beginning of January to Lanai and staying at the Four Seasons Resort at Manele Bay...just as a true break from EVERYTHING: life, work, and school.

This is our first real vacation without anyone or a purpose since our engagement trip to Jamaica!
An unexpected visitor this holiday is the President...yeah, Obama. The place he rents for his Christmas vacation turns out to be right across the street from our place, so this means that we can't use part of our beach, or the canal behind our place to kayak at all due to security measures. The canal is only 10 feet out our huge picture window, so we get to see the US Coast Guard patrolling with their machine guns and fun toys 24/7, and then the secret service walking around the beach.
Well that is enough sleep-deprive rambling for this entry. We hope this finds you having an amazing holiday weekend and that your holidays have been blessed with love and joy!
