Ahhh...what an amazing month it has been, and how quickly it has passed. Adam and I both celebrated birthdays this month, and they were AMAZING! Thank you to everyone who made them SO great. Not too much going on right now, besides enjoying Hawaii and the married life (you know, the general FANTASTICNESS of our life together)...but we are definitely gearing up for the trips home in TWO WEEKS! Not that we are counting down...our first time back to NH and PA since June of 2007...a very long time. We are looking forward to time with family, and Adam is really looking forward to lime iced tea from Sheetz.
I am delving into my personal hell of pharmacology right now, and am officially at the two year mark until I graduate with my Masters...I could do it a lot faster, but who wants to waste time inside studying all the time when you live in Hawaii!?!?! Yeah, not me :). Things with school are going great, maintaining a 4.0 thus far, you know...the geek I am.
Adam is currently working nights this week, so not seeing each other as much as normal, but thankfully it is only for the week. It also looks like I might get promoted to Assistant Nurse Manager...now that we have a new Pediatric Director, my boss is trying to push forward with it...as much as I don't want to work 5 days a week, it will be FABULOUS to not work weekends and holidays, and have the same schedule as my very wonderful husband.
Other great news is that my friend Allyson is going to be coming to visit sometime here in the near future (her husband gave her a ticket to Hawaii for their wedding anniversary, how awesome is that!!??!?! I am a anniversary present ;) haha...). Also, Adam has a conference in San Francisco in April, that I am pretty sure I can make it to, so we can have a nice little vacation and travel around!!! Yay to going to new places!!!
Well, that's pretty much all for now...and since we are pretty much working straight up until we leave on the 7th...I don't think we will be having any posts until we return at the end of October. Hope this finds you having a GREAT week, and hope to see you all on the mainland!!!
