Happy beautiful weekend to all of you!
Sorry it has been SOOO long since we have posted, things have been CRAZY here...but with all the emails and phone calls, I thought I should post something quick.
We are alive and well, and life is WONDERFUL.
Adam and I have been EXTREMELY busy with work the past two months, and every free moment we have had has been spent outside of the house. I am still acting nurse manager at work, as I have been the last two months, and have been THRIVING in the role, and my co-workers love it as well...but I have been averaging 10-12 hours of overtime a week and being called at all hours of the night (Adam loves that, as you can imagine).
Adam will be heading to San Antonio next week for work, and be there a week. I really wanted to go with him, but I will be getting my chemo certification then. BOO! My friend Melissa will be coming to stay with me the week, since her travel contract is ending and her roommate is out of town too...girls week!
My aunt and cousins from Texas will be visiting in July, Adam and I are heading to Las Vegas for a week at the beginning of August (I love Adam's job, sending him all over the place!!!!), and then my parents will be here at end of August. Other REALLY GREAT NEWS is that our kitty gets here on April 21st!!!! I AM SO EXCITED. It's going to be SO AMAZING to have her back!
I still have a TON of pictures to post from the Pro Bowl, the PCC Soccer Championship, and others, so stay tuned...I have 5 days off coming up, and plan on being quite productive with posting them and touching base with everyone. Sorry we have been so lax in the correspondence!
