Wow...can you believe that it is already December?!?!?! Yesterday marked exactly 5 months since we moved here, and 4 months since we bought our home...time is absolutely FLYING by.
This past weekend was an AWESOME one.
We had a date night Friday night and went down to Chinatown for dinner and out for drinks afterwards. We went to some of the Irish pubs and listened to live music...it was wonderful. Murphy's had a shuffleboard table that was packed, but we are definitely going back. I LOVE SHUFFLEBOARD! Saturday we went surfing down to White Plains and it was great. There were two seals swimming with the surfers and traversing the beach. There was an older one that had algae growing on him, and everyone calls him Kermit. There was also a group there giving free surfing lessons, so we definitely took advantage of that!!! Afterwards we all cruised up to the North Shore for some Mexican food and to watch the surfing competitions. Sunday was the best because WE GOT OUR CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!! Yes, it is really really late (we always get it the day after Thanksgiving), but getting good trees here is hard...and really expensive. They are all flown over from the mainland. It's all good though, it's up and decorated, and I am SO happy. We also got all of our decorating done, christmas cards put together, and packages to ship ready to go. I LOVE CHRISTMAS! We we also suppose to go hiking up to Pali Falls but it was raining too hard...hopefully next weekend!
Chelle gets here on Wednesday and I am A LITTLE BIT EXCITED!
Adam's parents get here in 2.5 weeks for the holidays and we are both really looking forward to seeing some family...especially for the holiday. And my parents have set the date to come out next summer, so that is FANTASTIC...and it is working out that we will be able to see family atleast every 6 months! YAY!
Hope this finds everyone in wonderful spirits for this AMAZING holiday season!!!
